Upcoming Culver Cattle Sales
More on the Culver Cattle
Program
North Park, Colorado is a harsh and demanding environment with many challenges. Fertility, efficiency, and profitability are crucial for our operation's success, given the long, cold winters at 8200'. When our cattle leave the high country they excel in any environment. In fact, these hardy females and steer calves actually surpass those raised in a mild and lower environment.
Consistent, predictable carcass quality provides marketing
options. Culver Cattle females raise steers that will finish at
1,300-1,350lb with carcass yields of 63-65%, grade prime or choice,
have at least one square inch of REA per 100lb of body weight and
have a high CAB acceptance rate. With years of data, we market on
the grid with confidence.
